About Us
Connect have been around since 1980 providing services and a listening ear, benefiting hundreds of children and their families.
We are governed by a constitution and trustees are elected bi-annually at the Annual General Meeting by committee members. Membership is open to all parents of young person with a disability and those with an interest in the welfare of disabled young person. Connect´s management committee is made up of Chair, Secretary and Treasurer with committee members. The management committee controls and manages the affairs and property of Connect. Connect have always tried to fill the gaps in provision for families of young person with disabilities. Fortunately, over the years, the gaps have reduced in numbers but inevitably there will always be those that need filling. If you agree with us and would like to get involved please come and join us at our next meeting. We meet on the 3rd Thursday of the month 7.30 - 9.30 you would be very welcome.
